IBPS Clerk 2018 Eligibility Criteria

The minimum qualification is graduation from any university recognized by the Government of India, or any equivalent exam recognized by the central government of India.

Proficiency in the state or union territory language is must. The candidate should know as how to read, write and speak the native language. Candidates should have minimum of 20 years and maximum of 25 years old as on September 2018. It is quite mandatory that the candidates should have proof of citizen of India. A refugee from Bhutan, Nepal, and Bangladesh will be allowed to take the exam if and only if they have a permanent intention of settling in India.

The IBPS Clerk 2018 examination candidates have to pay their examination fee only through online. For General and OBC the exam fee is Rs.600/- whereas for SC/ST/PWD the fee is 100/-The candidates have to pay the exam fee on or before the exam date.

IBPS Clerk 2018 Exam pattern

IBPS clerk 2018 is divided into two parts namely prelims and mains. Reasoning, quantitative and English will be covered in prelims whereas in main Reasoning and computer aptitude, Quantitative aptitude, General English, General & Financial Awareness will be covered. The preliminary exam will have 100 questions, for 100 marks as objective questions. The 3 sections have to be finished within one hour. 0.25 marks will be deducted as negative marking for every wrong answer. The mains will have 190 questions for 200 marks where all the questions have to be finished within 160 minutes.

IBPS Clerk prelims will be mainly qualifying in nature. The candidates have to clear all the three sections along with the cut off to enter into the main exams. The main exams can be attended only for the candidates who qualify the preliminary exam. There is no interview for IBPS Clerk.
